Welcome to Valley Community Baptist Church. We are one church in multiple locations with campuses in Avon and Bristol, CT. Our mission is to honor God and grow in Christ by worshipping God, equipping believers, bringing people to Christ and serving our neighbors. We would be honored to have you join us

Each weekend, there are six worship services in two locations: Sundays at 10 a.m. at Greene-Hills School in Bristol. Saturdays at 5 p.m. and Sundays at 8, 9:30, and 11:15 a.m in the Sanctuary in Avon. There's also a service at 11:15 a.m. at the Avon Campus in The Venue. There are communal dinners on most Saturday and Tuesday evenings at the Avon Campus. We also meet as small groups and classes throughout the week.  We look forward to meeting you.

Bristol: 718 Pine Street, Bristol Connecticut. We meet at Greene-Hills School in Bristol.

Children & Students

We encourage families to worship together on the weekend, and then choose children's programs and communities for middle school and high school students. During the week, we offer age-specific clubs and gatherings for children, middle school and high school students

There are also special events like summer camps, student retreats and the family summit that will help children and parents grow in their relationships with each other and God.

At Valley Community Baptist Church, we value knowing the truth of God and obeying His Word. Senior Pastor Jay Abramson is the lead teaching pastor. We invite you to listen to the latest sermon series.

The Smart Stepfamily | Chris & Laurie Olson: In "The Smart Stepfamily" (an eight-week video series),  Ron Deal helps blended families have success and provides practical, realistic solutions to the issues you face as a stepfamily. Women's Bible Study | Jeannette Brennan:  What do the women of Genesis (Sarah, Hagar, Rebekah, Leah, and Rachel) have in common? They were strong-willed but flawed women, loved by a flawless God. We’ll study these women using the book, workbook, and videos entitled "Slightly Bad Girls of the Bible" by Liz Curtis Higgs. Cost for the two required books is $20. Invite a friend and join us in Room 328B (Cafe Back) every Tuesday through May, 6:30 p.m. REGISTER HERE

This group will explore these issues and equip you to better understand your own faith as well as the faith of Catholic friends. Begins April 23. REGISTER HERE

Precept Women's Bible Study | LuAnn Turbiak: In "Lord, I Want to Know You," you'll discover the limitless power of God's Name. So much of our confusion and pain results because we don't know God, who He really is, how He works in our lives. But that will change when you know God more fully by studying His names (Creator, Healer, Protector, Provider, and many others) you'll gain power to stand strong. Book cost: $13. REGISTER HERE

Second Coming Prophecy: Conditions unfolding throughout the world seem to support the soon return of Jesus Christ. Without speculating or setting dates for His return, we will consider the fascinating topic from several biblically-centered perspectives.  REGISTER HERE

Prayer Group: Do you enjoy praying for others? The team prays through the prayer card requests turned in during the worship services. Ongoing. REGISTER HERE
