Welcome to Valley Community Baptist Church. We are one church in multiple locations with campuses in Avon and Bristol, CT. Our mission is to honor God and grow in Christ by worshipping God, equipping believers, bringing people to Christ and serving our neighbors. We would be honored to have you join us

There are also special events like summer camps, student retreats and the family summit that will help children and parents grow in their relationships with each other and God.

Tuesday Clubs

Details: Tuesdays beginning September 12 from 6:15-7:45 p.m., Avon Campus

Tuesday Night Life is designed for families, with children's clubs, a Parent Group, and other adult groups and communities all aligned on one timeframe.  Dinner is available to purchase from 5 to 5:55 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. You and your children will join everyone else at "Ten Minutes with Pastor Jay" starting at 6:15 in the Sanctuary; the clubs then begin at 6:30 p.m.  Weekday Courses for adults are offered at the same time as clubs. All events conclude at 7:45 p.m.

Children can have fun growing in their faith by participating in clubs. Younger children, birth through Kindergarten, can attend a free childcare program while parents attend a course at the church.

GEMS Girls' Club

GEMS stands for Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior. It is an international club with a mission to help bring girls in Grades 1-5 into a living, dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ. At the club meetings, the girls will sing, participate in fun lessons, memorize Scripture, create crafts, earn badges, and hear from interesting speakers. All the while, the girls will be forming relationships with other girls their age and godly women who serve as role models. It is our hope to see this club facilitate growth in each girl's heart to love God and others more each day. A $35 fee is required at time of registration.

BLAST! Boys' Club

BLAST! is a great opportunity for boys in Grades 1-5 to learn from wonderful male role models about what it means to be a Christian. BLAST! stands for Boys Learning And Serving Together. This is done through a lesson time, playing games, doing workshop activities, memorizing Scripture, and completing service projects. The boys get to know other boys in their age range while working and playing alongside each other. There is a yearly registration fee of $35 per boy.
