Middle Schoolers: Come join a group that has been formed and fashioned completely for you! At Valley's Avon Campus, you and your friends can come together, be yourselves, have fun, and get to know God.
Every week, over 130 students (Grades 6-8) just like you gather from all over. We meet for Amp40 and Amp70 on Sundays and for Riot on Wednesdays (during the school year). And if you're a part of the Student Ministry Team (SMT), we meet monthly.

Wednesday Nights
Wednesday Nights (during the school year) | 7-8:45 p.m. | Avon Campus | Fellowship Hall
At Riot, students engage in fun activities and hear Bible teaching relevant to their everyday lives. Students then break into small groups called "Huddles," where they become more acquainted with their peers and leaders as they encourage each other in their faith. Invite your friends! No need to register.
Wednesday Nights (during the school year)
Occasionally each Huddle group plans a Huddle Night Out where they meet off-campus together for a special, fun activity or for a local service project.
Our first Huddle Night Out will be October 17, 2018. Parents are responsible for drop off and pick up at the various locations.

- 6th Grade Guys in Todd and Pat's group | Farmington Mini-golf (1048 Farmington Ave.) | 7-8:30 p.m. | Bring money for golf ($8.50) and ice cream
- 6th Grade Girls in Anaida and Michelle's group | Flight Trampoline Park (140 Production Court, New Britain) | 7-8:30 p.m. | Bring money for jumping ($15) and Flight socks if you don't have them ($3). You must also sign an online waiver.
- 6th Grade Girls in Johanna and Shawn's group | Valley Avon for games | 7-8:30 p.m.
- All 7th grade Girls and Guys | Spare Time Bowling (177 Farmington Ave., Bristol) | 6:30-8:30 p.m. | Bring money for bowling ($5/game, $4 shoe rental) and food
- All 8th Grade Guys | Moe's (385 W. Main St., Avon) | 6:30-8 p.m. | Bring money for food
- All 8th Grade Girls | Farmington Mini-golf (1048 Farmington Ave.) | 7-8:30 p.m. | Bring money for golf ($8.50) and ice cream
Amp40 & Amp70
Sundays (all year)
Amp40: At the Avon Campus, students begin in the worship service and are dismissed to Room 305 before the sermon during the 9:30 a.m. service.
Amp70: Students of parents serving and/or in a Community are invited to join us at the Avon Campus in Room 305 at 9:30 a.m.
Student Ministry Team
Sunday afternoons (once a month) | 1-3 p.m.
Student Ministry Team (SMT) is for all 7th and 8th graders who want to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ and learn to live by faith: students who are ready to commit to a team that will make the Middle School Ministry more exciting and effective. SMT meets once a month on Sunday afternoon at the Avon Campus throughout the school year. Complete the application and turn it in to the Student Ministry office.
