Children & Students

We encourage families to worship together on the weekend, and then choose children's programs and communities for middle school and high school students. During the week, we offer age-specific clubs and gatherings for children, middle school and high school students

There are also special events like summer camps, student retreats and the family summit that will help children and parents grow in their relationships with each other and God.

At Valley Community Baptist Church, we value knowing the truth of God and obeying His Word. Senior Pastor Jay Abramson is the lead teaching pastor. We invite you to listen to the latest sermon series.

NextGen Parenting at Valley

A three-week session for parents of all ages and stages

March 17, 24, 31 at 9:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall "F"

God doesn’t just call on parents; He calls on entire families!

During this NextGen event, we will engage around the question, “How do we follow God’s call as a family?”

In these sessions you will hear from families that have sought to be obedient to God’s call locally and globally. You will have a chance to ask questions and brainstorm with other parents about how your family can follow God’s call where you live, work, and play.

No registration is required. See you on Sunday morning!

NextGen Parenting is Valley's comprehensive approach to helping parents of all ages and stages.

NextGen Parenting works across three ministry areas (Children, Students, Adults) and includes events, ideas, and resources to equip parents, who by God's design, are their children's most significant disciplers.

How do we do that, exactly?

We want parents to be positioned to effectively pursue these four goals:

* Keep the heart of your kids

* Prioritize time together

* Develop God-centered routines

* Regularly converse about God and what He is doing in your family

All of our resources and events focus on raising up the next generation to stand upon the legacy of their parents for God and His Kingdom.
